For one of the best lunches in Bolton, older people need look no further than Age Concern’s network of community-based lunch and leisure clubs.
Organised and managed by locally recruited teams of volunteers, the charity’s ever-expanding network of clubs gives older people the opportunity to meet with others, on a weekly basis, to:
in a friendly and welcoming environment, right on their very own doorstep.
Comfortable and accessible venues are provided by a range of partner organisations including local churches, housing associations, Bolton at Home and others. Limited transport is available at a concessionary fare.

The clubs enjoy the support of some 300 volunteers who, between them, provide meals and activities for almost a thousand older people each week. Each club has its own identity and all guarantee a good meal, good fun and a very warm welcome.
We acknowledge, gratefully, the support of our community partners and of Bolton Council’s Adult Services Department in providing this service.
