Leisure Activities

We provide a number of attractive leisure activities.  These include:

• Our 50+ Swimming Club which meets on Tuesdays, between 12 noon and 1.00 p.m. at Farnworth Pool, King Street, Farnworth.
  
  New and more experienced swimmers will be very welcome – just turn up at the Pool.  A small weekly charge is made.
• Monday Walking Club meets alternate Mondays and offers an attractive programme of less demanding walks. Members usually meet at our Ashburner Street Centre (situated between the Moor Lane bus station and the Ashburner Street market), and travel together, by public transport, to the starting location.  For details of forthcoming walks please click Monday Walking Club or pick up details from the reception desk at our Ashburner Street Centre.  A membership fee is payable.
   
• 50+ Rambling Club meets alternate Tuesdays and offers an attractive and varied programme of walks for more experienced walkers.  For details of forthcoming walks please click here 50+ Rambling Club or pick up details from the reception desk at our Ashburner Street Centre.  A membership fee is payable.
