Just take a look at what’s on offer in our Learning and Resources Centre. Conveniently located at the heart of Farnworth, the Centre, which has its own parking area, is only a few minutes’ walk from the town’s main bus station and shopping area.

This modern, comfortable and purpose-built facility, on two-levels, has been designed in partnership with older people, and offers full access, throughout, for people with disabilities.
It’s the result of a funding partnership between Age Concern Bolton, the National Lottery, Bolton Council and the Lloyds TSB Foundation.
Hundreds of older people use the Centre each week and all are assured of a warm and friendly welcome.

The choice is endless and charges for these courses and activities are set at a very affordable level.

Courses and activities are planned and led by a team of skilled and experienced volunteer tutors who will do all that they can to help you learn something new, and, at the same time, enjoy it!
