Café

Take the following ingredients:  the very best of traditional home cooking, an attractive and appetising menu, imaginative vegetarian and healthy options, an established reputation for a warm and friendly welcome and value for money; mix gently with the benefit of experience and the result – ‘OUR PLACE’ – our comfortable and welcoming town centre café.

‘OUR PLACE’, conveniently located in Ashburner Street, between the bustling market and bus station, is open Monday – Friday from 10.00am - 2.30pm and Saturdays 10.00am - 3.30pm.

We serve an excellent choice of delicious and high quality hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks, and a guaranteed warm welcome. 

For the added comfort of our customers, we operate a no-smoking policy throughout the café.  ‘OUR PLACE’ offers full access for people with disabilities.

Please note that the café is available to customers aged 50 and over only.

• Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce
• Roast and new potatoes
• Served with a selection of fresh vegetables.

• A wide choice of freshly prepared salads or sandwiches.
