WALKS FOR 2008

FIFTY PLUS RAMBLING CLUB WALKS FOR 2008

Walks for the 1st July to 12th August are as follows :-

1st JULY

MOSES GATE CP - CLIFTON - MOSES GATE

Approx 6 miles

Meet Age Concern Bolton at 10:00 for the 10:15 Bus Number 524

For those using cars meet at the Rock Hall visitor centre  at 10:30

At this time of year, all walk routes are subject to change dependant on weather and ground conditions

NOTE

CAR PARKING Some supermarket/DIY outlets are now making heavy penalty charges for long stay over 90 minutes.

B&Q Swinton recently charged £95 for parking one hour 45 minutes.

NOTE For those with concessionary travel permit using public transport.

(bus, train or metro) see latest leaflet giving free travel from 1st April after 09:30 within GMPTE area on production of your permit (bus pass)

Travel into Bolton before that time will still be 75p with permit.
