AN OPEN INVITATION

Age Concern Bolton will be hosting an Open Week, from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th June at their popular and purpose-built Learning and Resources Centre.  The charity, which works with and on behalf of Bolton’s over-50s, will be showcasing the attractive choice of weekly courses and activities available from September onwards.  These include, art and drawing, music keyboard, crafts and modern languages courses; weekly music to movement and tai-chi sessions and the ever-popular Friday afternoon tea dance.

Visitors to the Centre will have the opportunity to see at first hand, the excellent modern and comfortable facilities available, including a recently updated computer suite.  The latter provides the base for a wide range of computer classes at absolute beginner and intermediate levels; internet classes and digital photography.  Some of the Centre’s highly skilled and experienced volunteer tutors will be on hand to explain, on a one-to-one basis, what’s on offer and the bespoke support available to learners.  Complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the week.

Also available will be details of the charity’s complete range of services including care, practical support, leisure, information and advice services and its home and contents, travel, car and motor breakdown insurance services.
