Lunch and Leisure Club Organisers x 2

We currently have vacancies for Organisers in two of our established and popular lunch and leisure clubs: one in Harwood and one in Bolton town centre. Working with a small team of volunteers, you’ll be responsible for planning, ordering, preparing and serving a good quality meal, once a week, to a group of older people who live in the vicinity of each club. The meal is usually followed by a choice of leisure activities.

This is an extremely rewarding and satisfying role. These vacancies have arisen due to the impending retirement of the current organisers, who have each given excellent service over many years.

To undertake this role, ideally you’ll have the ability to lead and work as part of a team, be reliable, have good communications skills and a friendly personality. Some previous catering experience will be helpful but isn’t essential, as training will be provided.

To find out more, or to discuss the above vacancies, please call Emily Booth on 01204 382 411 or e-mail: emilyboothageconcernbolton.org.uk
